IN MEMORY OF VICTIMS OF THE DANA AIR PLANE CRASH

I remember this day very well. 4 years ago, I was seated at the U.J Esuene Stadium, Calabar, watching a live football match between  Nigeria and Namibia. Then a call came through the next spectator’s phone that there had been a plane crash at that moment and the news spread like wild fire cos we couldn’t just switch back to watching the game. The Lagos- bound Dana Air plane carrying 153 from Abuja crashed on this day, 4 years ago. Even if you weren’t acquainted with the victims, somehow, someone you know, knows someone who was involved in that crash. A painful loss to Nigeria and the world. 4 years gone, the family of the victims are yet to have an official report on what really caused the crash. Rest in Peace, beautiful souls. We remember you today!

An incredibly sad event that cast a dark cloud over our nation. Hopefully things like this won’t happen again. RIP to the dead.

    Nice blog.
